Gypsy or pirate costumes can be easily assembled from things around your home. Both require a peasant blouse or puffy shirt, then it about the accessories.
Gypsy: long skirt, hip scarf, hoop earrings, and funky jewelry.
Pirate: boots, sash around the waste, sword, bandanna, hoop earrings, and eye patch
Scarecrow: old clothes, but have straw sticking out and paint your face
Zombie: Wear whatever you want, but make your face pale, add greenish around your hair lines and under your eyes. Blue tint on your lips, and add fake blood liberally.
Vampire: dark clothes, cape, and fangs.
The Only Good Mime: black pants, stripped shirt, paint your face like a mime, and lay on the ground like you're dead or have a fake knife stick out of you.

take cardboard and cut a hole in it.
for your head.
then find an old sheet and cut a hole in it so your head can come through.then color your face white and this can be bought at wal mart,
then blacken your eyes just a little, around your neck put a Little runny red blood looking like stuff,
this will look like you a table with your head on it
and then make a candle out of the same kind of cardboard and splatter a little red blood on it to.
and make a cup and do the same thing on it as well.
this is things all around your home.
have fun.

It's an old one, and you have to be a man. Take two basketballs and attach a rope, sling them around your neck, be sure the rope is long enough to hit you at crotch level.
And I always liked the pregnant nun. If you could get into the habit. OMG, I really don't know what is wrong with me today.
Peace.
