Slugs crawl uphill for rain and downhill for sun.
Robins stay indicate mild winter, robins go = cold winter.
Angel wing clouds indicate rain in the next several days.
Wind change indicate temperature change.
Crickets chirp at a certain temperature.
There are many more. Animals and nature in general is constantly sending signal regarding it's environment. If you watch it enough you will learn some of the signals.

animals can sense when a natural disaster is about to happen. So if all the dogs in the neighborhood start barking madly at the same time, there might be an earthquake or something.

I live in western NY and we had a severe snow storm on friday the 13th of October....24 inches of heavy snow fell in 12 hours...over 400,000 homes and businesses lost power (8 days later , most homes still have no power)..95% of trees in the city came crashing down, blocking roads and damaging cars & houses....2 days later it rained and all of the snow is gone..thus causing severe floods....Friday the thirteenth is Mother Natures PMS day !
