Just take the music out of your shared file and put it somewhere else on your machine...
then copy them to cd and delete them from your computer.

Limewire, by itself, is perfectly legal.
Using it to share copyrighted material without permission from the copyright holder is NOT legal. Ripping CDs and putting the mp3 files on Limewire is illegal. Ditto for ripping DVD movies or putting up copies of copyrighted software.
Sharing your personal stuff -- i.e., your own photos or your original music where you are the copyright holder -- is perfectly legal.
The statistical chance of being caught and prosecuted for illegal use is very low, but if you're one of the unlucky ones it's going to cost you dearly.
Much more likely is that you'll get a virus or spyware infection on your machine that will be used to steal any personal data on your machine. There's a TON of malware on P2P networks.

Do not share and download files, it is infringing copyright. It's simple :)
From what I heard, they dont target people that download a few songs, ie 200 or less. They usualy go for the people that download in massive quantities and that actually have the "sharing" option enabled.
Don't share any music that you download, in fact, in all honestly, don't download any music unless you do it legally from apples itunes or some other service like that, just to protect yourself. better safe than sorry I always say.

It is not illegal to use limewire, it is however illegal to share or download any copyrighted material, music, movies,etc.... So yes you are doing something illegal, just like a million other people.

You can use limewire. It is legal
but the content you download may not be, and you should be wary of the legal ramifications of downloading and distributing illegal content.
But why use limewire to download when you can use the bit torrent network????

P2P softwares are legal to use! Whether it the US or any other place! They try to keep all contents legal, but it is dependent upon the user what he/she downloads or shares! So enjoy Limewire (as long as you'hv paid for it! ha ha!)!!

For your own personal use it is still legal.
If you want to sell files you have to have a license for each individual song, 20 or so bucks a song......
