Perhaps the procedure should never been developed in the first place....sorry to get graphic here, but, years ago, when the way children were raised was so different than it is today, like the "leave it to beaver" days, lets say the 50's, it would be a total embarrassment and shame on the family according to "society", that she was a "bad girl". Some parents sent their daughters away, giving all kinds of reasons, and some women took a coat hanger......it was made into a medical procedure so women weren't bleeding to death by trying to abort the pregnancy themselves. I have mixed emotions about that subject, but I also think that a Man has no right to say what a woman should do with her body, when a man has a child, and goes through that, that's when they can say what I can and can't do with my body. Do not think any man should have any say so in that department. Only women know that subject, and those are the only ones who should discuss whether it is right or wrong. Moral issue sure there is one. But that is easy to say if you have never walked in someone elses shoes. Think someone does that for just a form of birth control is not right, but someone who makes that decision under extreme circumstances, that is their choice, it is legal, and until it ever becomes illegal, I won't pass judgement, that is their life, not mine.

By your arguement then we should charge criminals with multiple crimes we they commit a crime against a single person simply because they can conceive and God knows this. Anytime you lie to someone, you are also lying to their unborn children, whom they may never have. This makes for a lot of sins doesn't it? Also, if God meant for a every birth that has been, does this include the ones that were made becasue of rape?
Abortion is a deeply religious problem. There will never be a consensus. To keep arguing this topic will send everyone into madness, including yourself. There is no clear answer as everyone has their own beliefs. The best thing to do either accpet this practice personally or don't. You can teach your children your beliefs, but not everyone else's children. You cannot force everyone to feel as you do, especially on the basis of religion.

`No one knows us before we are born. We are just a bunch of cells that forms when the sperm meets the egg.
There are times when an abortion is necessary. When the woman's life is in danger. I, for one, would rather have my wife living, than have an unborn baby...if the choice had to be made. Unfortunately, people are so caught up in their own little world that they can't look at all the aspects. The truth hurts for people like you because you want to impose your beliefs on everyone else without taking into consideration the facts and realities of life.

I think you must lead a real good life if this is the only thing you can bash your bible about.
Abortion is down to the mother/father. (I have not had one) I have also had 15 years of fertility treatment..... I bet you will say it is gods work, yeah right or you will say I am messing with gods work.
By the way have you met the person who wrote the bible? No, well in that case it is just a story book.
In the bible it also states you can pass a camel through the eye of a needle. I would love to see you try that!
I believe that also in the bible it states you should not judge other people. So put that in your pipe and smoke it!

Are you young? Have you been in the situation where you had to make that type of decision? I highly doubt it.
You can say if you weren't ready, if you were raped etc... that you would wait and go through with the pregnancy choosing adoption however, it is much different when you are the one faced with the issue. You can say all you want that you know for sure that is the choice you would make but that does not mean it will be that way when your faced with it.
Every-ones situations are different this is why women have the RIGHT to choose.
Your beliefs are a personal thing that apply to you. They can't be forced on anyone else and you cannot 100% say they are factual and true. You can say that you believe them to be true.
Your opinion does not count or apply to every situation. I think you need to try and put yourself in someone Else's shoes but even that will not show what a person truly goes through in these situations.

I'm not sure what your talking about. To me it's completely unclear, but if your meaning abortion. It's anyone's right to do so. I don't think an abortion is being mean or cold hearted, many women suffer a lot going through that experience and so many take forever to decide it. A lot of them just want to have everything set before them before they bring a child into the world.

Why are yoiu quoting the Bible to American citizens? This country was founded as a DEMOCRACY, not a RELIGIOUS DICTATORSHIP like Iran, so please stop trying to destroy America and everything we believe in with your jihadist Christian-extremist propaganda! We live by the United States Constitution here, NOT the Bible, so don't expect anyone to reject our civil laws and adopt your religious dogma instead.

i assume you're talking about abortion. honestly if you didn't sling old folk tales around as ultimate truth you might be able to present your argument in a more coherent fashion. the thing is it's a complicated issue. see if i buy your version of things then these mothers and their doctors need to be locked up for murder. are you ready to go that far?

Sorry, but there are two sides to that argument. If you destroyed a life for social reasons, eg, there life was just one big party, then no, however, if the child was a product of rape, then I feel it is up to the individual women to make up her own mind.
Chances are, would you want to look at the image of someone who raped you day after day.
