I work in windows environment so many of the symfony tutorials are of no use for me. I wonder if there is a nice, easy to learn framework that would allow me to make the appications faster and more trouble free..

The best framework is no framework. Frameworks are a net liability; they cost more in performance than they contribute in ease of development.

I also work using Windows and Apache, and have not had a single problem doing what I've wanted to do. If you are having speed or function problems, then try re-installing Apache.

just do yourself a favor and install a decent OS
