Getting attached to a thought too much can give a feeling of being magnetised.

Perhaps the question would be easier to answer if context were provided; i.e., what were you discussing when the person asked why you are magnetized? (I'm not certain whether I understood the question, really. And the other answers are just as enigmatic.)

no offense at all intended but why pose a question if u are averted please forgive my assumption seemed sensible or logical at the time N'est pas? May be I was magnetized to your questions' subject or topic it's not a big deal just a curiousity...
