hypnosis is very good way to quit, but make sure that you want to quit,if you don't want to quit hypnosis will not work, you can call to hypnosis organization and they can help you to find someone. the insurance doesn't pay for it, the rate is $50 -$100, and maybe you will need more than one session, good luck.

as helena said, it can work if you really want to quit. I had one friend who used hypnosis as a tool to get her to quit & it worked, I believe it has been about 6 years since she was a smoker. Another friend went to hypnosis as he was dragged along by his girlfriend. It worked for his girlfriend but not for him because he enjoyed it to much & wasnt ready to quit.
As for the insurances, I would say that some would, most likely those in the public programs but try the yellow pages to call around to a few & see what they have to offer in regards to services & costs.
Best of luck ;o)

I've never seen it be successful and I know many people who tried it. There is a new stop smoking pill that was recently put on the market.Ask your doctor if it is right for you. Good luck and I applaud your effort to quit smoking.
