I am curious if anyone knows of a website where you can post the serial numbers of a $20. bill, or whatever-then watch the progress of where it travels as it changes hands.

Very fun site called Where's George. It focuses on the one dollar bill, but you can enter any denomination.

I enver heard of that, in fact the mint probably is the only place that keeps track of original numbers and then eliminates them by shreading when the bills are returned and are very old.

From time to time I hear about people putting a note in a bottle and putting it into a lake or the ocean and years later it being found and is noted in the media....that's your best bet if you want to track something.
