No. His indescretions will have no definite impact on this country's future. The economy is not going to go into recession because somebody sent bad e-mails. The Iraq war is not going to stop once the ethics committee adjourns. The rest of the world is laughing at this scenario just as they did when Clinton was impeached for adultery (by the way, I have foreign friends in Europe and Morocco, and they all laugh about the Clinton impeachment). American jobs are not going to be generated or lost because Foley is a homosexual. Let's get back to the real problems in this country and learn to ignore the tabloid journalism.

No, his scandal is no different that Clinton's (not even comparable to Clinton's), Jack Kennedy's or his brother Ted Kennedy's. Their sexual behavior has nothing to do with votes. At least Foley got out and isn't trying to lie or hide it now that it is out in the open.

Nope, it just exposes the very graft, corruption, cover-up, and scandals that exists in BOTH parties.

BOTH parties are NOT what they proclaim to be and that is why democracy is falling apart at the seams.

Honesty and integrity has been replaced with "political expedience".

personally no because the thing that seems to be forgotten is that all politicians talk one thing while trying to get voted in and then live something else when get there and secondly we are all human and make mistakes/sin

you do indeed need to try and find the person who does closest to what he promised and go with that fact

otherwise - but for the grace of God, there go I

I never vote Republican anyway and this year i believe many republicans won't vote republican either not that I believe for one minute that will have any effect on the outcome of the elections. The last two were not honest hell I have traveled extensively and I asked everywhere I went who voted for Bush? In the last two years I went to 7 states talked to thousands of people and I have had 16 tell me that they voted for Bush. I don't for one minute believe he won an election in this or the last election. I am pretty scared about what they will do to me for saying this but I am even more terrified of my grandchildren that I love so much never even knowing what freedom is. I lost many friends in the vietnam war now they are once again sacraficing our young people so the rich can get richer. After all we the people are expendable, right? I can't believe you people are going to set there and let those criminals kill off your children in the name of greed. aheaven help us for we are spineless sheeple who will like the jews just let them murder us .

it's weird. it's like some people are just discovering that the people running this country are evil deviant creeps. this is business as usual. the big question should be why did they throw him to the dogs? what is it they are shuffling around behind the scenes covering up?

EDIT: props to the lady right above me. you are so right sister. this country has suffered a coup d'etat and nobody paid any attention to it, so busy were they getting their Big Gulps and discussing American Idol as their freedom died.
