We have gotten so focused on possibly having a woman President, we don't even talk about a black president anymore. You can easily be brain washed in the US all of these things are planned, and we just suck it up. Do you agree with me? We settle for a lot of nonsense.

And you've been brain washed that a black president would be any better. I'm really tired of hearing about race in everything. Why the focus on a black president? Why not focus on a smart president? A fair president? A president that is for the people and not for himself and his buddies? Who cares what color he or she is? Let's all open up our minds and keep the real race moving forward.... the human race!

I think the spin doctors in politics use these "scare techniques" to push the public where they want them. By scaring the public into thinking that a woman may become president, they push them in another direction. Those types of campaigns have been used for a long time. I think that more people should study the issues and decide for themselves which candidate is the best for the job by searching for what the candidates stand for - not just what they say they are for - but look at their voting record, their past actions, all of it. But unfortunately I believe it no longer is electing the best person for the job, but electing the lesser of two evils. It really is sad how much the general public allows themselves to be lead around by the media instead of looking for answers themselves.

I don't know about this. Time mag is running material about Barak Obama and he just might end up running. Wish Colin Powell had. Sure, a lot of stuff is planned and we do suck it up. It generally comes down to choosing the lesser of two evils and that is really not the best choice.
