He will likely just be placed on high alert. I was there in 1998 - 1999 and thats what they would do. You should ask him his thoughts on it, that is your best source of info.

There is a good possibility but being in the Air Force he is in the rear with the gear so no Major threats to him.

If N. Korea does anything aggressive of course. I don't think they will, unless Bush or China attack N.Korea to regain their Nuke monopoly.
