i got my licence in february this year and i still havent recived it in the mail, they say its because the ins hasnt verified my identity, is there nothing i can do?

I have called the dmv and asked them about it but they say was that the INS hasnt verified my indentity yet, its been 8 months and all i keep receiving from the DMV are extensions to my temporary drivers licence, and also i applied for an ID in December which i havent gotten either, I cant prove I'm over 18 and its really getting on my nerves now.

We had to go downtown to the central dmv office. It's probably just sitting on a shelf there not getting mailed. Raise some hell.

You do not want to let things like this bother you, when it arrives in the mail you will wonder what you were worried about.
You have a temp licence, so use it!
If you have your birth certificate handy you might try taking it into the DMV.

call up the lisenceing center and ask what the hells going on! dont just wait for it VERIFY YOU ID1
