Had you posed this question last month, I would have voted for Tamilnadu. But, after the recent municipal elections, I have to reconsider the opinion. I have never seen the open murder of democracy. The anti social and criminal elements were let loose and they were brandishing the knives to terrorise the voters and the officials to run away from the booths and bogus voting was enacted in full view of the Police. The presence of the Press has not deterred them. Karuanidhi was discredited because of former image as a corrupt politician, during the period of MGR, during his life time, he never hoped to come to power. The public memory being short, the people forgot his past, and he could manage to come to power, heading a big coalition. Now, his showing his old face again. The unashamed show of muscle and money power to capture power in the municipal governance brings back bad memories of the past. The social scenario in this State is rather hopeless. The people are really scared.
I think I should vote for West Bengal Government and then the Government in Kerala. The former because of the practical governance by Budhadeb Bhattacharya. The second because of the fact that the State of Kerala is always democratic in true sense of the term. The people are brave and educated and conscious of their rights and never fail to fight for their rights.

Balu, you have asked a question that many want to ask but are scared to ask, my answer would be, NO STATES AT ALL, they like to talk only, no action.
Their flagship states like Delhi or Maharastra are in the news every single day. Water / Electricity / farmers deaths etc, what have they done about it except allow the people in power to fill their coffers.
Compare the UPA ruled states with BJP and you have your true picture.

Tamilnadu is my answer.
That is because Dayanidhi maran is there to bring all IT related schemes to chennai alone rather than spreading it across to the entire country.
