Well believe it or not .. Jordan .. its a bird.. no kidding

To be Specific if this for school

Class-Aves - Order-Sphenisciformes - Family-Spheniscidae -
Genus, species

There are commonly 17 recognized species of penguins but there is some contraversy over it being 18.

Penguins are different from other birds though, other than being flightless.
They have a much heavier skeleton, and saly glands to help get rid of extra salt in thier bodies. Penguins basically fly in the water,,
THey are very graceful and VERY fast.

Most species are cold climate birds but a few do live in wamer areas.

Here is a good fact sheet

Also the movie March of the Penguins is a Documentary well worth watching.. not boring at all.

We got our copy at Target for 10.00 but I bet walmart has it as well .

Good Luck

Obviously an amphibian. Note the slimy skin and the attraction to water. See how it lays eggs and uses flippers to swim.

Just kidding. penguins are birds. Only birds have feathers and penguins have them. Small and oily feathers, but still feathers.
