They mean the same thing to me. You browse, you are searching, and when you are searching, you are browsing. Ha ha.

Maybe we should call the browser, the searcher, too.

When you're browsing, you're not really looking for something in particular but just casually looking or seeking. If you're searching than you're looking for something in particular, like you have an intent to find something....Think of shopping, when you go to the mall and window shop, you're just browsing.But when you go to the mall to buy something, you're searching for something.

browsing use for looking the specific file in the specific location but searching use for the find file that are stored in the specific location that is not know to user.

browse means you know the location of the document or know address of the paticular site you are looking for
seach mean you do not know where the doc is placed or you do not know where you can get the information then u search

Searching is looking for a specific topic ( that you need information about ) in the net.
Browsing is not specific and is in general about all the various contents available in Net.

browsing is like looking at sites about a general topic. seraching is having a real question in mind and attemoting to find the answer.

browsing means that you know web address of any web site and you just open it in any borowser but searching means that you search on any topic or any web address in search engines in seach engines such as google or yohoo.
