It realllllly depends on the depth of the relationship you had with your ex, and how you, personally, feel about it now. And, how good a friend your friend is. I, personally, think it's taboo to date a friend's ex. My best friend did this and not only did she not tell me about it, she was there when the guy treated me horribly. She watched me go through it all and years later she dated him. She ended up crying on the couch in a ball. That was actually pretty satisfying for me.
It's really up to you how you want to feel about it. If you're not comfy with it, tell her. How she reacts will gauge her friendship.

It all depends on your own point of view. Sometimes I'd rather my exes (especially ones I'm still on good terms with) would date a friend of mine so I knew they were getting a person worth their time and vice-versa... If it's your "best" friend going with your ex, and you ended badly, you have to wonder what the heck she's thinking. If she's the reason you broke it off with him, I think she did that on purpose, and no, she's not a friend.

Personally, i wd feel really bad 4 my friend. i wdnt wish my ex on my worst - well, maybe on my WORST enemy, but never on a friend. but seriously, if they r happy together, what's the prob? Maybe a little jealous that they can make it work when u & he cdnt? Maybe u can just be there to pick up the pieces when he hurts her, too. By the way, mine remarried a rich gal, & got everything he & i never had, but i got over being bitter - he died of cancer 11 mos. ago.

i dont think any real friend does that,i dont care if the relationship was serious or not,i dont care if u cant stand your ex u still dont want to see them with your friend someone whos close to you and why would she do this and theres tons of women out here.i bet u she wouldnt want u to date one of her ex boyfriends but anyway i feel thats a boundary friends shoudnt cross thats like say for instance your friend and your ex brake up and he talks to another 1 of your friends its ridicoulous and people need to stop doing this.

In my situation I would not care I have no feelings for any of my ex's and if it makes them happy to be together then I would be happy for them.... But if I had feelings for my ex then I guess I wouldn't be happy about it.

NO WAY! There are a million fish in the sea, why does she have to pick the phiranna you have a kid with? I say lose her, true friends never let guys get in the way even if that means they deny themselves what they want in the name of friendship. Hey if you don't mind want to answer my question?
