I have a number of confederate notes, with different denominations. How do i know if they are real and how much they are worth?

Since there are loads of fakes or reprints out there you need to take them to a currency dealer or a coin dealer who sells currency. They have to be actually seen to determine if they are the real thing. If they look to new and the paper looks to modern, that is a clue they are reproductions. You need to see a dealer and compare yours to the real thing. Even though I collect coins and have very few notes, I have seen a lot of reproductions in my time as well as the real thing. Best bet currency dealer in your area.
