Just wondering, if you've pretty much done everything you've ever wanted and don't know what else to do in life, is that when you start feeling satisfied or bored?

It is pretty difficult to cover that much ground... for anyone. Satisfaction doesn't have to slow you down.

I think intelligent people are rarely bored because they can retreat into their own thoughts if necessary. The exception is getting trapped into a conversation where politeness requires half-attention.

Who knows. I think the main thing with people who supposedly have and have experienced everything is this. I do not believe that they did the things "they wanted"...among rich people there eems to be a pattern per family places they should "for sure go'...Schools they must attend. Jobs that must be held at some point just like relatives etc. People such as these are following a laid out path. Or a path that they believe will help them maintain their lifestyle. It is wise to experience many things. Yet the same things? The same places? Buying the same same name brands? Not...I would rather begin again and re-invent myself and make my own plans...this way you will be sure to happy. Life is long better think of some more cool things. get rid of people who make too many stupid suggestions too. Change the colors of the clothes. Change the way the place you live looks. Get rid of items with "history"...Re new...it's best:)

You feel satisfied and freed up to find new pursuits or even just enjoy your free time.

It seems impossible to really be able to have "been everywhere" in this big world or to have "done everything". There are more places to go and things to do. If you have no wish to do more than you already have that's fine too.

Life - when it comes down to it - is very much about your state of mind and your soul (and I don't mean "soul" in a religious sense). There are no limits to the adventures your mind, soul and heart can find; and maybe sometimes people's mistake is in believing that they need to go places and do things in order to find fulfillment.

I don't think it's possible to do everything in life, interesting question, yet misguided. The danger of such boredom comes from the monotony of a closed mind. Either boredom or satisfaction may spring from doing what one wants to do in life, but even if one is temporarily satisfied, it may become boredom. Thusly, a new task or goal may spring to mind, a new mountain to climb will always pop up. The nature of existence probably wouldn't satisfy a person for long, such is the nature of man.

If you done it and it has caused a tremenodus satisfication then you will more likely keep doing it to be fulfilled. Some people that have everything in their life, such as money, are bored because they have everything and if a person is not happy within itself then nothing will make them happy. It's all about being at peace with yourself

When you feel like you've made an accomplishment; you made a difference, you will be happy. :-) Life doesn't end there.

Life isn't about material gain, or travelling around the world. The question should be, "Did you make a difference?" When you have reached that level, then you know what your real purpose is.

What you measured yourself with is dependent on how you will feel.

Yeah, I've heard that question a million times before. And I've answered it a million times too. Just so you know: I'm happy not being happy. Okay? Now how do I get out of here? Damn! I always forget. Oh, yeah! There's the exit! Yaaayyy!!!

Sometimes people think that they have done everything, have seen everything, have been everywhere, but then something happens in their life (they meet someone special or.............) that makes them see the world with different eyes, makes them realize that they have a lot of things to do, have to see a lot of places, have to see so many things.........
people are never setisfied, it is almost imossible, it is human nature.....

you should feel grateful that you could do all those things and quit being so pompous about it. do you have any idea how many people have to give up their dreams and the things that they have always wanted? I gave up everything to have what I have and to make my family better. Why should you be allowed to complain? do you know what its like to give up your education to take care of a dying parent? or give up yur childhood to go to work and pay for your clothes and give money to your parents so that there is enough food to eat everyday? wow buddy, you should be grateful.

bored. Happiness is not a fish that can be caught, not a thing that can be bought, and not a place you can go visit. Happiness is a measurement of the direction of changes. Good changes = happy. bad changes = unhappy. no changes = boredom.(unhappy)
