In India itself, there are many National Law Schools which are of a high standards, being run by the National or the State Bar Councils. Some time ago, the National Law School of India, Nagarbavi, Bangalore, was the sole National Law School, of the International standard. Even now, it almost always in top among the top ten law colleges. Now, there are equally good Law Schools, in other parts of the country. NALSA, in Hyderabad, the Law Schools, in Jabalpur, Ahmadabad, Pune, Cochin etc have very good reputation. I would like you to Google search the top ten law colleges in India and decide accordingly.

First, I am not lawyer; however, I have attended (on the graduate level) three of the four Universities I have attended: Yale, Harvard, Stanford, and UC Berkeley. You may find others, but you can not go wrong with those.

The University of Michigan and Wayne State University (in Detroit) both have outstanding law programs.
