I watched a video awhile ago, it is narrated by Joey Smallwood who is Keifer Sutherland's grandfather and a well know Canadian politician. The story is about the citizens of Mouseville who kept electing cats to power. They tried white cats, then black cats, then went back to white cats, changed to striped cats and so on. None of the laws the cats enacted were good for the mice however. The video is only about 6 minutes long, produced many years ago but sends a very telling story. How can cats be in charge and ever get it right for the mice? So to answer your question if the mice send the cats back to legislate then no, nothing will be better. The only change will be what the new cats in power want and what serves them best.

Politicians are like dirty diapers: they should be changed often, and for the same reason.
