Yes, probably your hormones playing games with the rest of the chemicals in your body. Try eating lots of fruit and veggis. Cut out or cut back on junk food and sodas. Your body needs all the good, nutritious food as possible for energy, plus it should help regulate you.

Your question isn't graphic at all.....

During my pregnancy I was constipated but didn't have the diarrhea... I just drank a glass of Metamucil a day to help keep me regular. Your body is going through a lot of changes so anything and everything will happen. Eat lots of fruits and fibers to help with your little problem.

Drink water for constipation and walk, it helps things move in your body. Diarreah can be difficult to stop due to you don't want to be taking so many drugs during pregnancy.

If you are constipated and then treating that you could have over-treated and caused the diarreah. Add more fiber to your diet. My OB/GYN told me it was safe to use the new Fiber Sure made my Metamucil. It is a flavorless powder that you can add to any food or drink and it disolves. Drink more water. NEVER use laxatives while pregnant...especially anything containing Senna!

During pregnancy constipation is very normal, to help decrease your chances eat more fiber in your meals. But the diarrhea can be dangerous in early pregnancy so you need to see your doctor and find out whats causing it so you can keep it under control.

some woman suffer terribly from constipation in pregnancy. It occurs because your peristaltic movements in your intestine slow down allowing for your food to stay in your intestinal tract for longer so that your body can extract more nutrients than normal.
