Add a little lemon and you have a great but simple detox drink! every now and then i drink it at breakfast time for a week and it seems to make a difference!

If you drink hot water from the hot tap it's not good for you as generally it comes from a storage tank and could have bugs in it. If you take cold water from the cold tap and boil it and drink it it is fine. I think that room temperature water is preferred by speakers and singers as it does not harm the vocal cords.
It is purely a matter of preference and as water has no calories, enjoy it any way you like.

Apparently yes, especially around that time of the month. The body doesn't have to work hard to absorb it. Chinese often drink warm water, on the other hand icy cold water (or anything really cold) is hard to digest, especially for old people as it takes a while for the body to make it the right temperature first.

Is hot coffee or tea bad for you? The body renders any fluid to body temperature, regardless of whether hot or cold. But it will not draw extra blood to the stomach to accomplish this, as would be the case if drinking cold water or any cold drink.. Is the reason it is preferred to drink warm drinks in hot weather.. allows the blood to stay in the vessels of the periphery to maintain normal body cooling.. that peripheral blood is reduced when needed to warm the stomach..thus rendering your body's cooling system to be put on hold.

My grandmother drank a cup of hot water every morning. She never had a belemisha dn very few wrinkles when she passed away at 96. she always said it was the hot water in the morning.
My friend drinks a cup of hot water every morning and never has a blemish!

Water is good for you full stop. At least 8 large glasses a day.
Cold helps burn calories and hot is a good detox (especially with the juice of half a lemon in it every morning)

yes i read about it last year in the paper. its not good to drink hot water too often - the article said it could cause mouth cancer.
i think the best way to do it is have boiling water with lemon and let it cool down for ages until it s tepid. apparently having this in the morning is really good for u. ask gilian mckeith

A glass of warm water is good for in the morning before eating I have done this for many years I feel good on alternate days I add a little lemon juice great stuff.

Yes, for hydration purposes it's more effective than drinking cold.
For slimming purposes replacing tea with hot water (and a slice of lemon) or coldfor that matter

Hot or cold, water is good. I like mine hot, I can drink more hot that cold. Especially this time of year when it getting chilly outside.

Yes, because i have been told by my quack that it can help against water infections and is also good to flush your system out of all those little bugs in your body that want to do you harm, just like drinking lots of cold water.
