It depends on who it is and what they have done. Trust doesn't come cheep for me. I've been hurt way to much to be really be a forgive and forget type of person.

I always follow the golden rule which is: " Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you!" I sometimes give more than that if I feel the person has really learned the lesson and is showing proof of wanting to improve. But usually it's strike 3, you're out! If the person is just bullshitting and continues over and over.
