Its a mortician's job they make the person look nice for the family to say there final goodbyes I think it would take a very special person to do this job.

My brother-in-law is a mortician, he does the make-up as part of preparing the body for burial. The exception to that is if the family requests that it be done by someone else. They are extended that courtesy without fail.

That is the job of either the Embalmer or the Beautician on staff at the funeral home. They are the people who do that.

Mortician maybe? And you can actually do this yourself if you want to. My husband went and did his brothers hair and dressed him for his funeral, I had no idea you could do this, but you can!
