I don't believe in dieting. I believe in eating till I am satisfied (not full) and eating several times a day (small meals). It is how I have kept my weight stable for lo these many years. Dieting messes up your bodies ability to stabilize its weight.

i was (but hopefully am not!!!) anorexic from the ages of 12-14. i was 105 at 12, and thought that too much at a hinting comment from my mom, tho i overshot her 5'2" long ago. so i dieted and have not gained more than 110 since then. i am 15 now, at 5'6" and am still 110. my mom tries to make me eat more bcuz she says i am a rail now and have overdone myself, but i find myself forcing one salad only a day with a minimum hour of exercising a day. i do NOT believe in dieting; it besets psychological impulses in people and makes them more self-aware to overdo alot of stuff (like eating) that a normal person might not even bother to think about. it doesnt take more than one meal a day to make me feel extremely guilty. i keep feeling my sides for fat all the time, make sure that my exercise can exceed an hour if possible, and will always weigh myself. i have renounced junk food (except in VERY RARE situations) of all kinds and make everything i eat from natural, low-carb, low-cal, low-sugar and low-fat ingredients. but i am tired of my own self-impulsion to do these things, plus wake up early and stay up late to "burn" extra calories. besides, i don't feel myself and feel sorta weird around other kids my age, as if i was "different" becuz of my "anorexia". if i could, i would rewind time and go back to being 12, without dieting.
