I remember a long time ago in Korea they eat rats is that true?

if ur poor and got nothing to eat but rats.. i think most people would eat them for the sake of it.. not just in Korea but i hear its a dish in china that uses rats as the main.. errmm meat piece

There are many countries that eat rats, for protein, including France at one time. Vermin are tasty little critters it seems. Just try these recipes at the link below.

I don't think its just in Korea. I saw a documentary that in the US, puppies and guinea pigs are cooked and eaten. In Thailand, there's an assortment of bugs sold as street food. In the Philippines, there's a documented case of a family eating cockroaches. Well, to each his own...some people can stomach sheep testicles, bloated goose liver, snails, ox tongue, monkey brain, rotten shark meat, raw octopus, sea urchin. :)

ive eaten snakes rats mice. anything that crawls in your box is open game, but thats a vc prisoner. i wouldnt recommend it but im still alive

and if ur a toughie, u can have a bite just for fun...
