I am that type of person who says "whatever floats your boat" so why are people killing other people because they have different opinions? It doesn't make sense.

I think people should be able to have there own opinions and they shouldn't have to be put through Hell just because they dont agree with you.

You'll meet all sorts of people who do not know how to disagree without being disrespectful. Intolerance comes partially from bias feelings (may due to one's own experience) or an unwillingness to serve a customer.community or whoever. Intolerance also comes from the inability to believe or withstand unfair practices or actions. Also what I don't like is that humans tend to "stereotype", which can be unfair. It takes more than a few blades of grass to make a golf course, so it's not fair to stereotype. Every body is an individual, no 2 persons are alike.

Intollerance comes with each person's genetics, beliefs, how they were raised and the society in which they were born, so what may seem common for you can be a real problem in their minds.. Its actually a type of human inmaturity and we can't help having in this world people dumb enough to think that what they believe in is the only way to go and that any one who opposes them has to be dealed with violence!

Why are you so dismissive- Maybe you should be a bit more caring towards your fellow human being does that make sense to you. Try treating people in a positive fashion and I bet you will get the same in return

Self esteem issues and immaturity. Ego plays a big role as well. We think we are better than or know best. Control issues, all of which are negative emotions and behaviors. Not good at all. What cures intolerance? Humility, and an open mind.

it is because they are ignorant and ignorance breeds intollerance knowledge leads to understanding which helps people become tolerant unfortunately there are to many closed minds in the world therefore they will never understand and work out differences through peaceful communications bummer!
