It depends on you r history of payments. If you are not up to date and the judge is up for reelection you could be sent to prison for a while.

More than likely not. When you get into trouble, is when you do not show up for court. They will usually make a payment plan or they will order that it be taken out of your pay check. Been there. When you can afford it, get a lawyer that specializes in family law. It is all a big hastle now, but if you evade, it will only get worse.

All of a sudden this is a hot topic. Why the hell are you going to jail if paid you child support? I know this is a question answering a question but what's the deal? I'm sorry, this whole subject leaves a bad taste in my mouth. My 2 kids fathers haven't paid a dime since they were born and no one seems to care, now it's like all the fathers who are paying to support their offspring are getting a raw deal...What' up?

check with your lawyer.. but i guess if on court date you don't have any pending payments, then it shouldn't be a trouble
