Why do men play games? Have any of you met a guy who plays games? I know a guy, and I can't tell if he likes me, but... I think he's playing games with me... he flirts, and he's inconsistent. Is this good? Plz help.

He might be playing games. He might also be shy and nervous about telling you how he really feels.
If you open up and say how you feel, you will see whether he is serious or playing games.

Think of it in reverse as I am in the same position as a man. Sounds like the impossible dream.
Paul on the other hand seems to have everything in control so to speak but I wonder what he would do in my position. The last time I dated I married her. Was married almost 49 years when she passed away. Since it has been so many years since going through the dating game I'm overly rusty and wouldn't know how to ask a woman out any more and am stymied. Have a gal who works as a cashier who seems to be in the same age catagory as myself and she seems to flirt with me but shows no possitive signs on my suggestives. Sorry Paul but I'm not an a---hole and do know how a woman should be treated...my only problem is how to go about introductions these days of so called modern times so I guess I'm just SOL.

I dont play games. I know what I want and go out and get it. By the way, I've only done this once, b/c there has only been one girl I ever truly wanted. She is now my finace. If a guy is playing games with you, you should ask youself if this is truly the "right" guy for you or if your just wanted him b/c he's "hard to get". Even if you think he's what you want, I guarantee he's an *sswhole and a player if hes not responsive to you or your needs.

Women act the same way sometimes. Obviously you like him and he likes you, why not discuss it with him. If he/she is not mature enough for a relationship, forget it.
