One by U2 and Mary J. Blige is also a good one I think...

just songs that are kinda showing empowerment...like in the killers song...when you were young or whatever...the line goes..."can we climb this mountain yada yada yada..." thats not really empowerment but that doesn't show empowerment but songs like that i suppose if your drunk it doesn't really matter...

I would have to say Frank Sinatra, Sweet Caroline {da da daa},Y.M.C.A, Home for a Rest, Mony Mony...there are sooo many. Friends are amazing, one of them is usually on your level and will encourage you wholeheartedly to sing and join you even if they don't know the words!!! "You..you got what I neeed...and you say you're just a friend.."Cheers!!

Never fails when out with friends in a bar you will end up hearing this song and most people know the words... You Never Even Call Me By My Name - David Allen Coe.

But there is another one that is really funny and really easy to remember when drinking. Dozen Roses - Rodney Carrington

I've discovered this really funny song by a Cali punk band, the Vandals. It's called "I've Got An Ape Drape", about the Mullet haircut and its many names (Achy-Breaky Hair, the Shawl, Hockey Hair, and so on). Download it, find the lyrics, get a bunch of your friends and BELT IT OUT. It's really catchy and hilarious.

Achy Breaky Heart - Being drunk is the only excuse you can use for singing that damn song!

P.S. You can probably get away with doing the dance that goes with it too.

Ummmm if you are going to be intoxicated do you really think you would be able to remember the name of the songs people are going to be giving you much less the lyrics? (Unless your going to be the sober one making the not so sober one sing these songs) That would be kinda funny.

journey - don't stop believing.

it's amazing how BAD the song sounds when a bunch of friends sing it drunk. it sounds bad to a sober person, but its amazing to those singing it.

def leppard - pour some sugar on me.

same exact reason.

Any song is good to sing when you are intoxicated. Everything sounds good. Everything looks good and everything tastes good.

Seriously, anything by Macie Gray is good to sing when you're intoxicated because she sounds like she's high anyway.
