Mine was in August, 1947 from Denver to Montrose, Colorado on Monarch Airlines. The aircraft was a DC-3 and I was six years old. I traveled with my mother, who was terrified, and my sister, who turned blue from lack of oxygen.

I had a great time.

First flight: 1991, at the age of 11; my 8-year-old brother took pictures of bi-planes at the tiny Washington Airport (just outside Washington, Missouri), and entered the pictures in the Town & Country Fair. The owner of the property saw them, called him up and offered to take him on a free ride, b/c he liked the pictures so much. He was allowed to take 2 people; he chose our mom and our grandpa. My older sister and I sat in the little office, watching the plane fly around. When they landed, our grandpa paid for a trip for us kids. We flew over our house, school, everything. It was awesome.

My first flight on a 'big' plane was on Aloha Airlines when I was 23. St Louis to Oahu. Boeing 747, I think. Long; but it was first class, so it was nice(: Every flight since then has been in the regular, tight seats.

I took my first flight when I was seven years old in 1978. I flew on an American Airlines DC-10-10 aircraft from LAX (Los Angeles) to IAD (Washington Dulles).

In Jr. High school, I guess about 1975 a few kids were selected ( in a drawing) to go up in a little cessna 4 place for a short ride, It was pretty fun, I still prefer small planes to large ones. The depressureization bothers me, and you can see things a lot better not so high up. I hope to go in a glider soon, maybe next year.

I was 3 months old when I flew in a plane for the first time. I have no idea what kind of plane it was. My mom said we were going to visit my grandparents. They were going to see me for the first time.

It was from VA to DC - short - and spent the entire time with one of 'those bags' in the bathroom upchucking. Fly fine now!
