Gosh, you should go see the doctor.
However, it could mean that you are just tired from staring at the computer screen all day. Give your eyes some rest and shy away from computer stuff for maybe 24 - 48 hours.
As previously mentioned, it could be stress related as well.
Eye infections usually don't come with twitching of the eye but with redness, soreness, and maybe sometimes puss, so the likely culprit is that your eyes are tired. Get some rest and if it persists for more than 5 days, go see an eye doctor.
Be safe.

HI!first of all, it has nothing to do with the mascara, because you would had red eye and an infection. It is up to a nerve in the eye, that for some reason, causes twitching. It is nothing serious.I had the same problem before two weeks.Believe me it will go away by itself. In our country it is said that you shouldn't tell when your eye twitches. If it is the right eye, it brings luck.It is a superstition.

You should definetly go see a doctor. Bring your liquid mascara with you! And these things could hurt you especially around your eyes. Eyes are very sensetive.
From next time you use your make up, check the expiry date for each of them. If they are expired, replace it with new ones. It will help you to keep your make up look good nice and less harmful.
I've had similar thing happened to me. Only mine was the swollen muscle around my eyeball...It was gross and since then, I've been very careful of what I use around my eyes.
I hope you will feel better soon! Take care!

You evidently have a slight nerve irritation. Sufficient to cause it to trigger an irregular muscle spasm of the eyelid. This is the same nerve that is involved in Bell's palsy.. If you are concerned about the condition you may want to see your local Doctor of Chiropractic for relief. There is pressure on that nerve causing the irritation.

This can often happen if the muscle has been pulled and it will continue to spasm for up to a week. Apparently too much coffee can also cause this.

If your symptoms are getting worse, perhaps you should see a doctor. The symptoms may be something, they may be nothing but you dont want to get yourself really sick before you seek help.
