You have failed to notice something that is so common in every race, ethnic and/or nationality... there are lowlife individuals everywhere! Luckily, the worst of the worst usually stay behind... can you understand that?
My philipino friends are among the nicest and most decent people I've come across, just like my Hindu, Muslim, Jewish and Christian friends from DIFFERENT countries (and we do not criticize one another's beliefs or customs, but we learn from one another in order to accept one another). Maybe you've noticed this, too, but have had difficulties putting it into words?

the filipinos have to earn. they are staying away from violating the host country's laws for fear that they will lose their jobs and not be able to give money to their families back in the philippines.. in the philippines, they have the tendency to bribe their way out of trouble.. im a filipino too, and ive seen quite a lot.

am a Filipino too. Because their job abroad is their bread and butter. If they commit mistakes in other countries, they would either be deported or imprisoned. Their work would be affected. Here in the Phil. there are also abiding citizens here.. Not all are law breaker, there are some who are law breakers... Maybe, only maybe because they see some law makers who are also law breakers..

it is because different place means different environment so it does only mean that they have to adapt the rules, culture, way of living, and even the etiquette of that specific country especially the laws. It is not only about the filipinos attitude towads one country's rules or laws but it also comes to all the people who are living in other countries :) peace out!

I work with several Filipinos and they all seem nice to me and very hard working,(but they definately tend to stick together and cover each others backs) maybe if they are not in their own country it shows they are trying to make a better life and change their ways.

Maybe because they don't want to get deported back there? One of my good friends is filipino and he tells me horrible stories about living there.

i don't know. but im proud to be one... but anyway maybe because the "law-abiding" pinoy have had that chance to leave the country to seek greener pastures. i guess we respect other cultures as well for that same reason that we are in another place.

it's not only particular to filipinos. this is inherently basic human nature. have you ever noticed, one behaves better in someone else's house...
