Planned Parenthood, Pregnancy Resource, and local health clinic will do free pregnancy tests... it does kinda sound like you're pregnant, to me.. BUT with Depo, it can make your body think you're pregnant, and can remain in your blood for up to 6 months..Also, go to your state welfare office and tell them you think you're pregnant.. they'll administer a pregnancy test.. If you are pregnant, you can get on state health insurance so that you can get the pre-natal care you need..

What you're going through is normal after discontinuing depo provera. Stop having sex if you don't want to get pregnant, or get on some form of birth control and use condoms.
Depo Provera can cause a plethora of side effects from genuinely tricking your body into thinking it's pregnant to the point of lactating. I'm honestly suprised it's been on the market as long as it has, when Norplant was removed for fewer issues. I discontinued it after 6 months after gaining nearly 50 lbs. My periods didn't return to normal until 4 years later.

Dear girl..You are not pregnant..I was on the Depo shot for a about one and half years. I did experience allot of what you are talking about. I did find out that the meds in the depo shot can last up to seven months in your system. It may take that long for your body to get rid of that chemical. Another thing to is that your mind has allot of factors in this situation. Your body is thinking that you are pregant. I had the same thing happen to me while I was not on depo any more. It should take a couple more months and you should be just fine alright. Take care....

You probably don't need to take another test as you already said this yourself and it was neg before. Depo does damage to the cycle. It can also take a year to regulate as well as maybe longer to get pregnant. So if your trying to have a baby or plan to in the next year, then you shouldn't take it and try to get yourself back to normal. Try to tough it out a while and when you get your medical stuff straight see your GYN and ask them to help you get it under control because it can be really uncomfortable especially if you have pain and other stuff. Good luck.

Coming off the depo shot can really make your periods abnormal. I had to go on the pill to regulate mine because after having the shot my periods lasted for 20 days and I felt sick for a long time. I personally believe that the depo shot should be taken off the market because it causes too many problems.
