I think it would be a lot more meaningful if people used their heads to spread their own "gnomes"
around instead of spreading little statues around their gardens.
I'll just go plant another rose tree in my garden....and every time I smell that rose I'll pay respect to that "gnome" ....in a "scent of spirit".

just a small one. One of the meanings of a folly is those wierd buildings by the victorians in England that were built with no real use or purpose except keeping people busy or as landscape ornaments.
