I am very excited The Cardinals won.

A Detroit/St. Louis World Series is classic.
(plus I am laughing at the network executives who thought they'd made tons of money off those ny Muts).

This is what baseball is all about, 2 great baseball towns playing for The World Series.

2 great cities, each with great fans supporting them.

Sing your praise of them until Saturday...then the real reason they work so hard every year starts, the WS is the only series that matters...and the Cardinals are not good enough to win it. Tigers have a top 5 pitching staff in baseball, the Cards dont have a top 15 pitching staff in baseball. If you remember correctly the Cards were dominated by the Red Sox when the Cards had a much better team than they do now. Tigers in less than 5...

I hate to burst your bubble, but the Tigers will blow them away, possibly in four games. Afterall, they barely beat out the hapless Reds! The only hope the Redbirds have is to perch on a branch high off the ground somewhere and pray that the big Cats can't get at them.

WEST said it - NO TEAMS FROM NEW YORK IN THE SERIES.
That's enough reason to celebrate.

Good Luck
