I dont know about Physics but Southern Maine Community College has a widely renown Culinary Arts program. Almost every instructor went to CIA.

Harvard, CalTech, MIT, Chicago, Berkeley, Cornell. Any place with a strong grad program - but beware, many strong grad schools don't place a lot of emphasis on undergrad research, so you may want to consider liberal arts schools.

Look at this site: http://www.guidetocareereducation.com/?input_college=1774&source=overture_college_act&OVRAW=ACT%20college%20select&OVKEY=act%20college&OVMTC=advanced

You will be able to research colleges by the majors they offer and you will find college profiles that will tell you how pricey they are.
