"First do no harm" is a creed that should be followed by all of us. The law can be corrupt. Would Nazi Germany or any number of other murderous dictatorships have ocurred if people were more willing to stand up for what is right?

At the same time, the very fact that most people are sheep makes laws a vital necessity.

I am a 'spirit of the law' kinda guy....though I suppose it depends on who is watching.

censorship, drugs, prostitution, mandatory seat belt wearing for all? please. im a grown man. i already know the difference between good and bad.
the letter of the law is written under the assumption that we are all morons. and being the questioning, yet law abiding, citizen that i am; i am under the same assumption about most who write it.
