Bar hopping is over rated.
If you want to just get drunk, stay at home.
If you want to actually make friends and/or a g/f, then go somewhere where they don't drink.
Meeting someone intoxicated is not the same as meeting them sober.

If you're going out drinking alone, I think you have a problem. There are much more productive things to do with your life. Find a hobby, get involved in your community, go to the gym. Start leading a more productive and healthy lifestyle, and you will feel much better about yourself.

I suggest not. While in the past nothing has happened , bar-hopping alone is fraught with dangers. It is my sincere suggestion that you find a good friend to go with, for mutual protection and to enjoy the outing more.

Oh, that sounds so depressing. Well, I guess another week won't matter. Surely you can find something better to do. Think about it.

I only see one reasong why it would matter: if you're drinking, who is driving? (unless u get a cab or something, then by all means have fun... maybe you'll meet new & interesting people!) =0)

Maybe do something else instead? You did it for years, maybe it's time for something new :-) How about taking a dance class? Like salsa or ballroom or hip-hop.

You're courageous. I won't go to a bar by myself. Where are you? I'll go with you

Maybe you should do something useful with your life. Maybe volunteer to help others?
