Do you really think scientistS found a way to make things invisible??? I mean, why spend billions of dollars to make things invisible when you can use that money to do something actually useful!!! I mean, give starving children food, or BETTER YET, HOW ABOUT REBUILDING NEW ORLEANS AND FLORIDA?!?!?!?!? THE SCHOOL SYSTEM IN NEW LONDON, CT??!?!?!??

OR MAYBE, BUILD HOMES FOR ALL THOSE PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN TENTS AND JOB OPPURTUNITIES FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE STUCK GOING TO 'LABOR READY' FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES?!?!?!??

What do you think they're doing with that money? Making it invisible? They're spending it on supplies produced in factories, on labor by people they hired, on running the universities they work at - on the students, the janitors, the cooks, the town, etc. Think a little before you start bitching next time. It's estimated that for every dollar of NASA's budget, 7 dollars are spent in the economy as a result. Basic research is good for everyone.

Technology improves the quality of life for everyone... advances in one area often leads to applications and products that society benefits from.

Much of our modern day technology was originally government or military research. The Internet is a great example.

Because it's awesome. I mean, come on, invisibility? Sweet.

Plus, we don't spend nearly as much on frivolous scientific research as we do on weaponry and killing people. If you want a budget to cut, make it the war budget.

Maybe you should worry about real issues like feeding people and building homes for all than worrying about something that doesn't exists

well.. its a debatable quest.. well done..

if u r realistic, u r rite... it cud be done..

on the other hand, if u r in fav of tech, it upgrades quality of life, u personally can dominate the world n so on n so forth.. which is something hypothetical though tech improves quality of life n providing challenging environment... it creates employment tooo..


so i conclude that it depends on how u perceive

They don't make things invisible.

They make them harder to detect, like aircraft, submarines, etc
