I don't get this, as if being prosperous and working hard to save money is filthy, only to turn around and pay much of it in taxes. This has to be jeolosy. Sorry, I worked my way up!
P.S. I also give to my charities, by choice, not force.

I certainly don't agree with use of the term and generally agree with your assessment. It is unfortunate that many politicians try to fan the flames of class warfare come election time.

Gee, I wonder which party could possibly stoop so low so as to insult those who are really paying the overwhelming majority of this country's bills. They contribute to the use of the term.

Jealousy and envy has no place in the voting booth.

People who mention ''anti-football'' do so because they can handle the result. Rijkaard about Celtic, then Messi about Rangers. Its football and its a tactical game. Its not just about getting everyone behind the ball its about closing down at the correct times and being in the correct positions. These guys didn't watch the whole game and base their opinion on the highlights which were all about United. There was a number of occasions we saw Bougherra come right up the park, we saw a few excellent counter attacks and we even got up and had a decent shout for a penalty. There is no such thing as anti-football, just football. Yeah Forza thats what I said can you no read? And it was after a 0 - 0 draw at Ibrox actually.

When we have a world where there aren't any poor starving orphans or senior citizens who have trouble paying for prescription drugs or health care in general, then we can get to the far less important issue about whether the term "filthy rich" is insulting.

Filthy rich is the wrong name, it is to nice. I call them 'greedy whores', rich people care for nothing but themselves.

By the way you aren't rich, sorry but you are another poor scumbag like the rest of us. When you fly do you own the jet you are in or are you renting a seat. True rich people don't fly on normal planes like the rest us do.

You worked you way up, another sign you aren't rich, you depend on others for a living, the true rich don't need to work because of those trusts.

How much debit are you carrying, the true rich don't have debit.

How much are you getting paid to post these questions?

I agree with you.
I am certainly not rich. I am in education and work in the ghetto with juvies. I see poor people doing drugs and drinking instead of taking care of their kids. The kids I work with would not be locked up if it wasn't for their parents.

It is an ironic term. Show me one person who would not love a billion dollars to fall in their lap. And yet, we associate wealth with "filth." Then these same people wonder why they struggle financially. Wealth is a gift! Why not appreciate it?

If I were rich, I wouldn't care what they called me. But I am piss poor, so I guess that isn't the best of things, either.
