How old were you when you got your drivers' license? Did you wait until later or did you take the test as soon as you were legally allowed to?

I waited until I was 20. I didn't have money for a car and insurance and I could walk to everywhere I needed to go.

I was 16 so when I was legally allowed too. I don't have a car I can drive but I now use it for identification and emergencies .................. still waiting for the emergency lol.

I don't know why but I was about 20 when I got mine.
I lived close to most things. Loved to walk & ride my bike.
I just didn't have a strong need to drive.

I just turned 16 and yes i took it as soon as i could, my sister on the other hand, is 21 and she still doesnt have it.

I for some unknown reason wanted to wait.
But My mom wanted me to get it ASAP .. both so that then they would not have to haul me places and I think she half wanted me to date .. of course she half did not want me to date.
