K.. today i got a pap and exam.. i have medicine.. but.. duno.. is it ok to use it after getting a pap? kinda got pinched and what not... just.. duno if it will make it hurt or not.. ty for any answers.. if your not gonna answer seriously tho.. please just move on =)

It may cause a burning sensation, but I don't think it would be a problem. The reason a pap is uncomfortable is because it presses on an internal organ, the cervix. The surface of the cervix doesn't have nerve endings like skin does, which is good, because a pap would be even more of a pain. Anyway, I don't think it will hurt because there are no nerve endings to be irritated by the cream. If you're really concerned, though, just hold off for 24 hours. That's enough time for your body to heal the top layers of a wound, like a scraped cervix, so it won't be irritated.

ok i need sum more info to help u out... was it just a standard pap or did u have a culposcopy or a biopsy? and what kind of medicine did u get?
ok yeast infection stuff should be fine they would tell u if it was gunna cause u any harm should be good to go

they gave you the cream to cure the yeast infection, it wil only get worse if you dont follow what your doc said, it wont cause you pain but it will be messy, i recently had a yeast infection myself
