By comparing the 5 types of sports (basketball, baseball, volleyball, soccer, and football), what are the similarities and differences between them?

the differences are the size and shape of the balls, the number of players on each team, and the general rules of each game. they are all very distinct games and have their own sets of rules.

you can put them into two basic categories: games where you try to put the ball somewhere, and games where you try to put the ball where the other team is not.

Volleyball and baseball--try to hit the ball where the other team isn't, get points/runs for doing so. No time limits. Baseball= who scores the most in 9 innings; Volleyball = when the team reaches a certain point score.

Basketball, Soccer, Football--put the ball in the opponent's net/goal/over the goal line more times then the opponent does within a certain time period.
