I loved it.when I saw spirited away,I thought there's no way any movie could beat it.but then the saw howl's moving castle and I was blown away.I loved howl .I thought it was funny how howl cared about his looks so must.I loved when he said"whats the point in living if I can't be beautiful".I think Cristine Bale did a great job.I thought the story was really sweet.

I've never read the book, but the movie makes me want to.

I borrowed HMC from the library and I couldn't stop watching it. A few days later I bought it at Best Buy. I've also seen Sprited Away and Castle in the Sky, but like Howl the best.

I thought it was really creative and fun. The story ran smoothly, and there weren't many times when I asked myself what was going on. I did have a few questions like were Solomon's & the Witch of the Wastes' henchman the same creature? How were they controlled? One was wearing hats and the other masks. Was that how?

Was the curse Howl was under because of what he ate when he was younger? Was Calcifer a demon or a star? Why a bird? I really should read the book.

The animation and music were the best things about this movie, and the voice-overs were wonderful too.

I just watched it about three days ago. I was blown away by the story telling aspect of it. I mean where does he come up with this stuff? or is it all folklore? I am hooked on the studio releases, i'm now watching Nausica, but sprited away was also beautiful. It's incredible the depth behind the characters and the quality of the animation. Ghibli studios is making it an art form. You could also try Ghost in the shell and ghost in the darkness. They are very modern technology, but great.

I'd personally say Endless Waltz, but I think you have to mention the Studio Ghibli films when talking about the best anime movies

I'm an idiot, the question wasn't asking for my favorite.. how did I miss that?
