I really want a small stud in my nostril and have for a long time. I was going to wait until I got my nose fixed, but have decided to love my nose in spite of its bump and celebrate it by bejewling it.

I teach middle school, and in our teacher handbook it says we shouldn't have any facial piercings. Now, in this day and age does a little diamond in the nostril count as a "facial piercing?" I mean, they don't say a word about the tattoos on my ankle (tats aren't even in the handbook!) which I would say is far more controversial, don't you?

I'd say a stud is fine...

I know an older lady who is very traditional, but she went out and got one.

I've seen teachers with a lot more daring piercings! (inner lobe, eye, etc)

tats + nose piercing = pushing it a bit for a middle school teacher to be considered professional.

i have a tat. no prejudice here. just a pure business observation.

Tatts as called by Police are "Tramp Stamps."

Piercings of the nose, tongue, belly, vagina are known problem areas for infection no matter how clean one thinks they can keep the area....ask an M.D or D.O and your dentist.

Nasty...............
