Are there any songs out there that no matter how many times you hear it, it still makes you cry?

Now that I've read several answers and am off to bed, I'll tell you the ones that get me everytime: "Concrete Angel"--Martina McBride, "How Can I Help You to Say Goodbye?"--Patty Loveless and "I'll Be"--Reba McEntire. I can't ever pass up listening to any of them but every time I do, I cry like crazy. Especially the video for that last one...she turned it into a beautiful mother/daughter song.

The poster with "The Christmas Shoes" reminded me of one I only hear on country music stations at Christmas called "Christmas Carol." It's about a guy playing Santa at the mall and a pretty little girl sits on his lap and tells him her mommy died and she doesn't know her daddy and all she wants for Christmas is parents. I lose it every time I hear that one. I guess that's what being a Mom gets me.

Butterfly Kisses by Bob Carlyle. I love songs about kids' relationships with their parents. It makes me think about my parents and hope that my kids will think about me that way some day.

There is a song by Fisher called I Will Love You taken out of the romance movie Message in a Bottle because the test audience thought the song was too sad.

I don't cry at songs, but find some songs sadder than others.
Fisher's Missing
Fisher's Mary
Susan Vega's Queen and the Soldier
Mojave 3's Return to Sender
Mojave 3's In Love With A View
Barzin's Past No Concern
Barzin's Pale Blue Eyes
Devics has several sad songs

Let the sunshine in / Aquarius from the Hair soundtrack. I have seen the film so many times and heard it and I can't hold them back. Fatherland from the Cabaret soundtrack is a tearjerk for me because of the atrocities comimtted and the soundtrack to the Pianist is hauting- there's something about a piano that makes my heart melt. Good question.
