I bought a right-handed guitar even though I am a left hander. I wanted to know if there was any way I can switch the strings, readjust them? Is this possible, if so how?

Jimi Hendrix used to play a right hand guitar even though he war left handed (or maybe the other way around). He would just put the strings on backwards. That's one of the reasons he had a very particular sound. You could also have the pickups rotated if it is an electric guitar.

it really depends. can you play right-handed?
im a lefty too.
If your guitar is just shaped like a 8 kinda then you could. If not, you can't really.
take the strings off, then put them back on holding it the lefty way.with the biggest, thickest string up top. Tighten it until the string is in tune. Continue in order.
Perhaps you should take the guitar before doing anything to it to a music shop and get them to do it for you. That's what I would do for you.

Guitars have been strung up backward to accomodate left handers. I believe you have to turn the bridge and nut around as well.

sure u can. all you have to do is reverse the nut. its glued in & will need to be cleaned & reglued.(if ur not comfortable with this, any competent repairman can do it, restring, set action & harmonics for a reasonable fee). by the way, jimi hendrix was left handed & played right handed guitars his whole career with the simple modification above(you do NOT have to reverse the bridge)

yeah its a pain but remove the bridge and the nut(these are the two things the strings rest on and that are raised up on) they are on either end and if you can remove these without breaking them, you can glue them back into place, you just need to reverse them,so you move the fat grooves and the thin one around.if you do break either one,a local guitar shop should have replacments for cheap
