I know this question is a bit general but I just want to know how others have had success with in generating good buzz and selling any type of product. There are many ways to please customers. Please share your insight. Thanks!

There are many ways to generate good buzz about a product. The first thing is to send a press release on the product to the industry or general public you want to target months in advance. Next, when the product is nearing the final phase of production and ready to be shown to the world do the "Microsoft-type" show. Hold a huge party to announce to the world the actual product and give free samples to the press and anyone in attendance. After the big bang have a great marketing plan. That is the problem with many products. After companies make a big deal they taper off on their marketing and then the buzz dies down. Build it up and keep it up for weeks, months until you feel that the product has gone through a great cycle. You can always find more markets to make more money.
