i agree with the others who suggest Estee laude.... their foundation suits women in your age group fantastically... also try Nars, christian dior or mac... they have a more higher coverage, i suggest you go to your local department store and ask the women who work there to suggest a foundation to your skin type, colour and age group.... take some samples then decide which one suits you the most... everyone has a different skin and not all brands suit all women, best thing to do is shop around.. good luck..

Bare Minerals---it is natural makeup made of minerals from the earth...I have been a LOYAL customer for 3 years and I would never go back to liquid foundation. Try the website www.bareessentuals.com or bare minerals.com. Good luck!

Bare Minerals is really good. Estee Laurder and Elizabeth Arden are really good for a woman in her 40s. Also don't use a moisturizer unless you need one and you don't necessarily need one just because you're in your 40s. Does your face feel tight and dry 45 minutes after you wash it? You need a moisturizer if it does, if it doesn't you don't need one.

Definately Estee Lauder "Futurist" Time Resisting Makeup. Great for women in their 40's +. Moistiurising, firming, gives a "dewey" fresh faced glow. It's great, and you should be able to get a free sample in your shade at your local department store. Good luck!

Estee Lauder. I LOVE Estee and have worn it and Clinique for quite some time. Estee seems to have a wider range of products for 40-somethings needs--intense moisturizers, etc. their "idealist" and "perfectionist" lines are AWESOME. go get a free facial at dillards or macys or somewhere like that! you'll love it!

There's 2 I like. They have medium coverage. Lancome Teint and Elizabeth ARden Ceramide Plump Perfect.
Both cover minor imperfections, don't feel oily, stay on all day, and come in tons of shades.

Cover Girl's Advanced Radiance. Nice, light coverage and makes the skin appear brighter. You can get it in a pump, tinted moisturizer, concealer, and pressed powder.

bobbi brown makes the lightest most effective foundation. they're style is very natural makeup that doesn't make you look 'made up'. best to try their Tinted Moisturisers' which have SPF 15 and is not greasy.
